Here are two interesting, upcoming talks – one in Okinawa and the other in Berkeley.
In Berkeley, a panel of students and professors called: “My heart is in Okinawa: Everyday Life Between Japan and America” They’ll be talking on various topics and Professors Keiko Yamanaka and Wesley Uenten will be showing the film that we all worked on together. It will take place on Feb 1st, 4:00pm-6:30pm on the Berkeley campus. See flyer for more details.
In Okinawa, a talk by journalist Jon Mitchell: Living the Silent Spring – Agent Orange on Okinawa. Jon will be talking about Agent Orange in Okinawa and Masako Sakata’s documentary on the children of Agent Orange victims, “Living the Silent Spring” will be shown at the Sakurazaka Cinema in Naha City. It will take place on January 31, 1:30-3:30.
